Command-Line NetDB

This class will show some of the features of command-line NetDB, which is available to anyone with NetDB access.

The primary use of command-line NetDB is to do bulk changes to multiple records much more quickly than can be done with the web form. Integration of web searches and bulk command-line changes will be shown.

The Stanford Web Forms service was launched two and a half years ago, and continues to grow with almost 3,000 forms created by over 1,000 users.

Join Marco Wise, University IT, as he covers the latest features of this free service, such as:

  • Cloning of forms
  • Saving submissions to complete them later
  • Email confirmations
  • CSV attachments

Marco will also discuss some of the upcoming changes, and answer your questions.
