More about Disk-Based Replication

Disk-Based Replication is based on data replication between storage systems. Replicated data can be presented to clients directly from the destination storage system or can be restored to the source storage system. We work with the clients to configure the time and frequency  of data replication for a given share/volume.  Number of versions and how long to retain them is also configured during the initial setup.

Disk-Based Replication stores replicated data in  Cloud Storage

Scheduled maintenance

  • The window for scheduled maintenance is on Sunday between noon and 6 p.m.
  • Scheduled maintenance, required for reconfiguration of the storage arrays, is performed about two or three times a year.
  • Hardware is refreshed regularly on a rotational basis at the end of the warranty cycle or about once every three years.
  • Change Management requests will be submitted for any scheduled maintenance.
